Our 4th grade spelling curriculum consists of a spelling packet, which is given each Monday and is due Friday. The packet is made of different activities to help your student practice their spelling words throughout the week. I do not collect any parts of the packet until Friday, when it is due. Your student may, of course, turn in the completed packet anytime during the week.
A pretest is given Monday morning to help students identify which words they need to study. I encourage parents to test their child throughout the week on those missed words. The prestest is not part of their grade. The spelling test is given Friday morning after the packets are collected.
